  "map_content": "\ud83d\udea8 THE U.S. GOVERNMENT WILL SHUT DOWN IN 12 HOURS\r\nYou need to understand the risk we\u2019re walking into at midnight.\r\nWhen 80% of the government shuts down, the agencies that calculate the numbers we trade on are shut down too.\r\nThis is a data blackout.\r\nHere\u2019s what disappears:\r\n\u2013 The Jobs Report (NFP): The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is part of the shutdown. If this drags on, the monthly Non-Farm Payrolls report gets delayed.\r\n\u2013 Inflation Data (CPI/PPI): The data collectors for the Consumer Price Index stop working. This means we won't know if inflation is going up or down.\r\n\u2013 GDP & PCE: The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) typically halts operations, meaning no GDP updates and no PCE (the Fed\u2019s favorite inflation gauge).\r\n\u2013 CFTC Reports: The \"Commitment of Traders\" (CoT) report, which tells us how the big money is positioned, stops coming out.\r\n\u2013 The SEC halts mostly everything except emergency enforcement.\r\n\u2013 IPO & M&A Stalled: New IPOs and merger reviews get put on hold. If you\u2019re waiting for a deal approval, good luck.\r\n\u2013 Historically, shutdowns shave about 0.1% to 0.2% off GDP growth for every week they last.\r\nThe longer this lasts, the more the \"uncertainty discount\" gets priced into stocks.\r\nI\u2019ll be monitoring the market to see what happens during this blackout.\r\nBtw, i called every market top and bottom of the last decade, and i\u2019ll call my next move publicly as usual.\r\nMany people will wish they followed me sooner.",
