Yet, it's ironic that modern people are constantly plagued by diseases due to their failure to maintain proper dietary habits and the consumption of incomplete foods and living in an unhealthy environment.\r\nEven if you consume delicious and expensive protein-rich foods and various medicinal herbs, any systemic imbalance in your body can disrupt a specific metabolic system.\r\nIt's common today to think that being overweight is the root cause of adult-onset diseases, and childhood obesity is simply a result of excessive calorie intake. Because of this, we see many people attempting to lose weight through fasting, food restriction, taking diuretics, and various forms of exercise under the guise of \"well-being\" and \"dieting.\"\r\nHowever, whether in children or adults, obesity is better understood as a result of nutritional imbalance rather than an excess of nutrients.\r\nIn cases of nutritional excess, leftover substances from the breakdown of calories are stored in the liver or muscles as glycogen and are easily used. But if the excess continues, it accumulates as fat, leading to the initial stages of obesity where cells swell.\r\nObesity from Nutritional Imbalance\r\nThis happens because of a lack of regulating substances\u2014vitamins, minerals, and trace elements (which make up just 0.005% of our body's mass)\u2014that are as important as the three major nutrients: carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Without these, our bodies lack a complete combustion system.\r\nIf we consume a normal diet that includes the right amount of calories along with these regulating substances, our appetite won't be excessive. We'll naturally stop eating once we've had what we need.\r\nHowever, a balanced diet isn't a one-size-fits-all, objective, quantitative concept. It's more accurate to view it as the result of each person's specific bodily function to maintain the composition of their blood (the \"salt of composition\")\u2014a function that nature provides humans.\r\nElectrolytes are regulating substances that are dissociated in a certain amount within our bodies to properly maintain the osmotic pressure of extracellular and intracellular fluids.\r\nWhen our body needs a certain substance to maintain a healthy blood composition, the hypothalamus's ventromedial and ventrolateral nuclei use the autonomic nervous system to signal a craving for it through our sense of taste.\r\nTherefore, people with a healthy appetite maintain their well-being by adjusting their meals based on their cravings. They don't crave sugary drinks, coffee, or other luxury foods. They have a physiologically complete metabolic system, which helps them maintain a healthy fundamental constitution and a stable baseline weight.\r\nThe reality is that most people are exposed to a state of nutritional imbalance because they consume processed, fractionated, and refined foods. They have to supplement with regulating substances like minerals and vitamins just to maintain a balanced diet.\r\n\"Is Higher-Quality Meat Better for You?\"\r\nThis is a misconception that stems from a failure to recognize the integrity of natural foods. It's also based on the misguided belief that the more expensive or \"premium\" a cut of meat is, the better it is for you. There is no such thing as a \"special food\" that you must eat to maintain a healthy body. While health is indeed dependent on the food we eat, the true path to health and longevity lies in consuming an appropriate amount of calories along with the necessary regulating substances, tailored to each individual.",
