  "map_content": "Ganesha got his elephant head. According to legend, Goddess Parvati created Ganesha from sandalwood paste or turmeric to guard her chambers while she bathed. When Lord Shiva, her husband, returned and tried to enter, the dutiful Ganesha blocked his path, not knowing who Shiva was. In his anger, Shiva beheaded the young guardian. When Parvati emerged and saw what had happened, she was devastated. To console her, Shiva promised to replace Ganesha's head with that of the first creature he found, which happened to be an elephant.
