https://peermark.online

I'm hoping to release this Platform to the public early next year.

Peermark is focused on complete self-sovereignty.

I believe humanity deserves the complete right to own, access, and control all of their assets, intellectual property, licenses, and more.

I'll spare the long, boring details — but this is a really large project, with many in-depth features and very specific parameters which must be carefully accounted for. As of current, I don't believe anything quite like it exists yet.

The largest thing I'd like to pride the platform on, is the understanding that many users are not familiar with blockchain technology. Therefore, it's important to take any user input with any blockchain interaction away from the user for registrations, and ensuring we issue correct education/notices throughout. Once registered, users of course will have the ability to migrate/move their assets at their own peril, but must do so at their own risk.

Therefore, the simple solution is once again; Scale.
If Peermark can scale large enough, users have no reason to manually interact with (sometimes complex) blockchain transactions, in order to move/transfer their assets. Instead, Peermark acts as the 'user interface' for doing so, and handles practically all of the complex logic with simplified UX processes.

Expect three different online marketplaces for sale/purchase of:
Digital Assets
Real-world Assets
Licensing & Rentals
It's extremely important to me that Peermark strikes the perfect balance between 'centralised' and 'decentralised'. With this in mind, I believe users should be given the option for how much 'control' they wish to grant us, with complete (total) confidential options for asset registrations being a possibility, which also ensures confidential files/IP is encrypted at a very high level, ensuring only users can 'unlock' their information/assets via their own keys. Ultimately, I'd like Peermark to become the world-leading trusted platform for various things.

As a result, this brings great challenges, which I won't completely go into, as it'd take hours to explain all in total depth.

It's important to provide various options; ensuring users can opt for '100% decentralised' and self-reliant data handling, and also 'part' (minimal) data handling (via Peermark — which, only really benefits additional security measures, but I thought it's important for some users).

This also extends into 'high-value' asset sales, whereby as a platform, Peermark has a duty of care to ensure any asset rights, licenses, or tokens tied to physical assets are indeed done so correctly, ensuring absolutely bare minimal possibility for asset/intellectual property/license theft, accidental transfers, or scams.

It sounds relatively simple at the surface level, however — it's actually a very, very complex one to solve with a platform such as this. As sentence seven of the Whitepaper demonstrates: "A certain percentage of fraud is accepted as unavoidable."

However, that is not to say we shouldn't do our absolute best to ensure that fraud is as close as we can possibly get to being completed eradicated. After many months of planning, testing various methodology, fallbacks, user-flows, I believe I have finally optimised the system to a point whereby it's very well hardened.

The only remaining avenue for fraud which I can see being possible, are 'social engineering' attempts. Which, I will of course attempt to mitigate through education, notices, safety buffers, escrow, (optional) delays on transfers, (optional) Peermark intervention for vulnerable users, and more.
I look forward to hopefully sharing Peermark with you in the coming months, and hope some of you are eager to join us for beta testing upon launch!

I welcome this stream to become a future 'Support' thread, or simply to ask questions amongst yourselves, or potentially even share Marketplace listings and Licenses in the future.",
