It's 3rd party access to the blockchain... and not resilient like the p2p, small-world network Bitcoin is designed to offer.\r\nHopefully modern browsers will one day implement the BCAT (B://) protocol, or similar, like _unwriter had done with the Bottle browser. I think using that protocol, with direct links to content, I don't think you even need an indexer to grab stuff on-chain. Indexers I think are only required for searching. Surprised somebody hasn't built a Chrome extension to handle this...",
