  "map_content": "I\u2019m heading out this afternoon for my last game on the old Frolf Course.  The city of Nanaimo is home to a world renowned Disk Golf Course in Bowen Park.  An incredible nature asset right in the middle of town.  \r\nThis park has the Millstone River running through it which is its own complete reason for visiting the park:  \r\nIn the summer there is crayfish hunting and shore exploration  with the river being not much more than a trickle.  \r\nIn the winter it\u2019s a raging torrent all the way to the Ocean just down the way.  It\u2019s cascading through the tumbling rapids and some impressive falls, at which when standing there, you lose the impression completely that you\u2019re in the middle of a modern city.  \r\nAnd when the snow sticks (not this year unfortunately \ud83d\ude14) it\u2019s THE tobogganing hotspot for the whole city. \r\nI\u2019ve raised my kids with this park as an important backdrop. \r\nAnd with my middle son, almost 18 now, I\u2019ve grown him up playing Frolf with me!!  \r\nIt\u2019s really Lovely to be in a place where I can  have this recreational activity accessible year round.   The obstacles on the course are different seasonally.  I\u2019ve got a clear cool day today and it\u2019s low breeze rn so I\u2019m looking at a stellar last round \ud83e\udd1e\ud83e\udd1e\ud83e\udd1e\r\nWhat I will miss most about this course is the tee off on whole 7. It\u2019s the longest hole on the course and it starts at the top of the valley.   In the winter the trees in the way are leafless \r\nWill I finally ace this one today?  I know I can throw the distance\u2026 it\u2019s whether I hit it all perfect. \r\nThe new course is going to be very different.  And I\u2019m excited to get good at that one.  I\u2019ll pine for that hole 7 drive though. \r\nBut heck I can always just come here and huck disks from that spot.  Heck I can even bring my own basket.",
