They were foolish for not being ready for something that was guaranteed to come.\r\nSo here is where I'd gently turn it back. A wise person doesn't measure earthly, man-made, uncertain things against the certain promises of God. To compare a blockchain to the return of the Lord is to put a thing that MIGHT happen next to the one thing that surely will. I don't think you meant it that way, but that's what the comparison does.\r\nAnd you're right about one thing completely \u2014 a wise person keeps their lamp trimmed and their oil ready.
